FAQ

How much does a tribute act cost?

Tribute acts vary in costs depending on a few different factors including location, if they need to provide a PA system, some have the ability to perform more than one tribute, some have backing bands and dancers. Give us as much information on your event and we can do our best to provide you with the information you need.

Do i have to pay a deposit?

Yes, we take a small deposit to confirm the booking. This will be non -refundable. The balance will be due 7 days prior to the event. Payments will be via bank transfer and details will be given upon invoice.

What do i need to provide for the act?

A stage or performance area with access to electricity. A clean, private and secure room or area with somewhere to hang costumes and transform into their tribute look (preferably not the venues WC)

Most acts travel far, start their day early and get home very late so something to eat and drink we know will always be greatly appreciated.

How long is the performance?

This varies with each artist depending on what you book. For venues such as hotels, restaurants, golf clubs, bars, clubs and live music venues etc most solo or group acts would perform 2 x 45 mins sets. For more personal events such as birthday parties or wedding functions, a 1 x 60-70 mins set works best to fit in with the other event timings. Sometimes the set requirements may be less. Tribute bands can perform up to 70 - 90 mins depending on the acts set list. It is something individual to each booking.

Where do the acts travel to?

We have performers based all over the country and most are very happy to travel. We book with clients all over the UK, from Southern to Northern England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and overseas. We have artists perform in the Middle East, Canada, America, Europe... Just ask and they shall travel.

What does self-contained mean?

If you need the act to provide their own sound and lighting equipment this is what we call self-contained. If the venue has a PA system or you have a DJ, sometimes we can ask the act to link in. This means they will bring their mixing desk and microphone but use the venues speakers. This saves on having more equipment than needed.

What is a PA System?

A PA System is the artists sound equipment they they need to amplify their music and vocals. Every performer and band has different equipment but simply put, it consists of speakers, monitors, amplifiers, mixers, microphones and a whole bunch of cables and wires. Bands have more equipment than a solo performer.

What if i want to cancel the act?

If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation where you need to cancel the act you have booked we would ask that you do this as soon as possible. We have an industry standard cancellation clause on our contracts that states full payment if cancelled on or within 30 days of the event. The more notice we have, the more chance we have to find the act other work.

If there is anything you are still unsure of, talk to us. We will do our best to help.
